Considering that nobody has been able to touch a production version of the iPad or in fact have more than a few seconds with one of the prototypes, it is a bit early the say the iPad rules anything.

Dude. you should be happy you americans get to have this stuff. Here in Israel we live in poor conditions. Bombs get dropped on the town. My friend got killed by a bomb just 3 hours ago. You should be more grateful for what you have. Because there are people KIDS dying everyday from bombs and guns in Israel. I am using a cafe PC in the Lower part of West Bank. So if your wondering how I’m even typing this thats where I am.

hahaha! fail. slow, useless, probably doesn’t run a full size OS. Get an Always Innovating Touch Book. It runs android, their own OS, ubuntu and it has an OMAP3530 instead of this tegra crap

Tru, but that is the only reason why u don’t like though, it’s too limited in the aspect that is pretty much just a casual media player, I mean if you want a really good casual player like this than I would say you should get the new archos. I like the MSI because it’s more portable than laptop and can do multiple college tasks that would allow me to multitasking on an online assignment or a paper. I see this has iWork but this is a limited version of iWork whereas this tablet uses full Office.
Also the ipad is not for everybody, i like it because i does well what it is supposed to do.I dont need a tablet to edit movies and download torrents.I like the ipad because i want to surf the web lying in my bed and watch a movie while on the bus.The iphone cant do it my macbook is to heavy to carry all day . . .i think the ipad can!!!!
I m not saying that we should buy an ipad, i m saying that if someone wants a laptop. . .then he should buy a laptop, not a tablet.A tablet cant do what a laptop can and if ti can then its fat with no battery life and costs more than 500$.I know that everybody is disapointed that ipad doesnt run os x but os x is not designed for a mobile device.

This wasn’t covered on the video but does anybody know if this is handwriting recognizable, i really want a tablet that can pull of Powerpoints and write notes on them, if anybody can answer that would be really helpful.
But an entry level iPad is 500 dollars, so are you saying we should not buy the iPad and buy a laptop instead?
But anyways, the iPad is not exactly the greatest thing ever it is too limited to what it can do, even the rating sites like Cnet and engadget said that we should just not get this if we already own an iPod touch or iPhone.
